About Us

The Maseya Reach Out Foundation was founded in 2026 by Steven Maseya, following over a decade of experience working closely with communities and vulnerable individuals across Malawi. His passion for community service was strengthened through his television program “Reach Out and Touch,” which aired on the Malawi Broadcasting Corporation from June 2010 up to 2020.

Through this platform, he interacted with numerous individuals facing economic hardship, lack of education, unemployment, and limited access to opportunities. These experiences inspired the creation of an organization dedicated to providing practical solutions to community challenges.

The Foundation began as a small business training initiative in Goliati, Thyolo, supporting 10 women with entrepreneurship skills and mentorship. Over time, the initiative grew into a multi-sector community development organization addressing the broader needs of women, youth, and disadvantaged groups.

Today, MROF continues to expand its programs, Transforming Communities through sustainable and inclusive development initiatives, environmental protection and awareness, education, entrepreneurship for the youth and women as well as communities.
